Australian Dollar Drops in Forex Trading
Aussie down against the US dollar in currency tradingThe Australian dollar is struggling a bit in forex trading on the currency market. The US dollar is showing some signs of life in currency trading, and that stealing some of the thunder from the Aussie.
However, with traders still a little wary of US economic info, and of Fed Chair Ben Bernanke’s testimony today, the Australian dollar may see some gains in forex trading. The Sydney wee hours Herald
"Normally in that environment you might see a little bit more support for the Aussie dollar, but countering that is that resurgent US dollar," Mr Cavenagh said Wednesday.
"At the moment it appears the US dollar trend is winning out."
